Seniors' farewell dinner 2014

For the last time, I attend seniors' farewell dinner.

I will be no longer a junior after the last batch of my seniors graduate this year end.

I will attend my own farewell dinner next year.

How fast is the time flies?! O.o

Alright, seniors' farewell dinner.

As usual, everybody wear gorgeously and make up well.

I am the only exception, again, I think.

No make up, no contact lens, no hairdo.

Who cares huh? I am not the main point tonight. haahaa Keep it for next year!

I was over sentimental tonight.

I shed tears while watching videos about seniors' memories.

I wasn't touched by the video itself, but thinking about my experience with my classmates.

Seniors and us experienced the same thing like BIG, Anak angkat, a lot of performances and so on.

So when the videos were playing, it was hard for me not to recall my own piece of memories.
And I was thinking about next year would be my last year studying in college.

And started to think about what would happened if there isn't the gang to crap with me and to laugh with me like we used to have everytime.

The dinner was okay. Both Yee Xien and I the eating monster couldn't filled up. Sad case.

But I didn't feel regret for going laah.

'Coz I could take photo with handsome and pretty seniors that night.

That seemed to be the only chance for us to get closer (?) and take photo together.

I felt proud yet scare when I knew that I was in the same school in them during the second practicum.

They are two of the seniors that get cemerlang. You know how stress we are to be in the same school with genius-typo people! XD Thanks for lending me teaching aids and sharing some experience with me.

BC 2 Reunion Dinner

Yo! How's everybody?

We were having a class reunion dinner one day before the farewell dinner with seniors.

Time flies, we are now Sem 6 aka the Third year seniors.

It has been a really long time since the whole class hanging out, having meal together.

Sh*t happened in our class, sometimes. You know. So we seldom hang together nowadays.

But,

one of our lecturer passed away recently and I bet most of us felt the pain. 

He used his life to teach us the last lesson: appreciation. 

We all never know what comes first, accident or tomorrow. 

I think this is the 'click' that make us to get this reunion dinner run.

We want halal food. We want quality food. We want good atmosphere. 

So we gotta pay for it.

And it is actually quite pricey for poor students like us. But the memories are priceless.

Because of this reason, we joined and didn't complain anything.

It was a memorable night. RM25 worth so so much!!

We had happy moments together, acting crazily in the hotel, taking damn lotsa photo.

I really love the moment which we forget all the unpleasant incidents or misunderstanding but mix together, enjoying that particular moments together. 

Our class may not be the most outstanding class among all seniors and juniors.

Being one of the BC 2 members may bring us tears and anger. 

But somehow, this is the class that belongs to us. 

Because of BC2, we are who we are now and because of us, BC2 becomes special and irreplaceable.

I hope there will be more memorable outing to come in our last year.

毛毛 有感

原因：描写详尽，含义抽象，一本会让人读完后开始深思的幻想小说。

在阅读营时听到了主讲的郭史老师导读了这本小说，觉得很吸引，于是在书展中一看见这本书时觉得自己一定要拥有这本书，于是就毫不犹豫地买了下来。

课业也算是七七八八了，于是忙里偷闲不停地看。三两天功夫就把这本书给看完了。

看的时候对于故事的结尾很是期待，看到尾声意犹未尽。

其实就我这么一个没有创意和幻想力的头脑看起来是挺吃力的，边读边幻想，看完了没有太多的感触，但是看了后序文，回头再往深一层，整本书的内容就融会贯通，也悟出了一番道理来。

毛毛，

是个善于倾听他人说话的孩子。

每当人们遇到困难或纠纷或烦恼时就会说 “去找毛毛吧！”

灰先生，

外表光鲜，实则为时间盗贼。

他们善于用听起来逻辑的理论说服所有人，骗取他们的时间来延续自己生命。

灰先生出现后，

城镇的人变了。

没有人再有多余的时间去找毛毛了，哪怕遇到了多么大的烦忧。

每个人要做的只是节省时间。

毛毛发现了灰先生的诡计，灰先生会放过她吗？她该怎么办？

毛毛又该怎么做才能拯救自己，又帮助她的朋友们找回原本的自己呢？

节省时间真的是好事吗？

在这里作者给了我们这样一个省思。

从小到大，我们总是听着大人说：“不要玩了，不要浪费时间，去读书！”等等的话。

长大了，我们会对自己说：“不要浪费时间看戏/运动/逛街/应酬，快点把课业做完！”

我很爱和家人闲话家常，但每到考试周，我都会忍着，说不到几句话就得逼自己回房温书。

其实，这样的“节省时间”真的是健康的吗？真的有益吗？

其实不然。

当我们总是与时间赛跑赶工的时候，我们赚到了效率，看似赚到了。但...

我们丢失的是更为可贵的“情”和“生活”。

总是节省时间做功课，赶工...为了赚取更多的钱，有更高的成就......

少了和家人、朋友相处的时间，“情” 就会越来越淡。

没有休息的时间，没有娱乐的时间，“生活”就会越来越淡掉。

久而久之，我们就会像“灰先生”一样越来越灰，身上一点光彩也没有。

一直以来大家都说“时间就是金钱”。

看了这本书后我认为“时间其实是生命”。

只有赚到了生命，才等于有了最大的财富。

我们应该节省时间，但不是把省下来的时间一味地用在完成更多的工作，

我认为我们更应该把省下来的时间用在做自己喜欢的事情。

我就会把这时间用在上网、看戏、看书和与家人聊天上。

不要再说什么节省时间，不要再当时间的奴隶了！

我们要做的应该是时间的主人，要说的应该是善于利用时间。

First try in WEIS cafe

Sorry for my missing.

I guess is anybody still reading my blog and looking for my new post?

I have been too ill and busy for managing my blog. There were lotsa happenings but I was too lazy to post one.

Anyway, I would like to introduce about this cafe in Batu Pahat today.

WEIS Cafe

I think this cafe is still considered quite new in BP area.

It is so hawt in BP due to it's 3D art on coffee. 

I don't have to chance to visit KL and have a cup of 3D art coffee in Coffee Stain by Joseph, so thankfully there is one cafe in BP for me to try out.

I seldom visit a cafe for dessert or coffee, and will only step into a cafe to enjoy high tea when there is some good partner to accompany. 

Needless to introduce, you know who is it. 

Cheers and yell, Fiona is coming to BP!! We can have more good food sessions together recently. 

We always wanted to try a 3D art coffee so here we were!

 The surrounding in this cafe is very simple and quiet.
I thought this cafe would be in dim light but it turned out to be exact opposite. It is very bright inside.

You gotta order at the counter. 

The price of the food and beverages here is quite pricey.

WEIS Cafe is famous of it's 3D art on coffee, so how could we miss the chance to observe how the barista creating the lovely 3D bear.

The coffee is not very bitter. It is very thick and smooth. It is really good!

Brownies with ice cream at RM7.90

Personally think the brownies in Spice Vaganza, Muar has a better texture because I like the brownies to tasted moist and softer. This brownies here is slightly crispy and hard. Somehow, they are so generous in giving us the ice cream. Big scoop of ice cream yum yum :D

强烈推荐给像我一样的新手菜鸟教师，教书教到失去初衷的老师，或对教育有极度热诚的人！！

实习快结束了，在3K班也只剩下两堂课，一堂礼物课和一堂讲师视察课。
实习的脚步可以慢慢放慢了，就到培养轩（学校cafe）借了本书来读。
Aim那儿的书很久了，只是一直没空去借，也没空读。
趁着明天没课，不用准备教案，就把这本书拼完了。
真的很好看，有很多课堂管理的实例，不是教你怎么打骂学生，而是教你如何了解他们，让他们打从心底服从你，爱你，乖乖上你的课，好好地表现。
如果上一次实习我看这本书或许我不会有太多的感触，但这一次...
我看了真的觉得太赞了！
如果你是为了糊口饭吃，或者你是被逼着走入教育的行业，这本书的内容你看了也不会去实践的。
如果你有教学热诚，这书真的可以帮到你。

这本书有作者老苏通过不同方法教育学生，让学生“改邪归正”的真人案例。
有好多章，非常感动，让我有点眼湿湿，让我会想如果有这样的学生那该多好。
要有这样乖巧懂事的学生，要想了解学生，其实最关键的是看老师教得好不好。
这一次的实习让我更明白的是教书不只是课堂上的教导新知识，更多是育人。
老苏在教学过程让学生习写联络簿，从中了解学生教室外的一面和他们内心深处。这是我一直很想做的事情。我打部落格是为了记录发生的事和抒发感情，让想了解我的人知道我在想什么，所以我也很希望我能知道别人是怎么想的。
联络簿这个idea我真的很喜欢，但实习期间时间本就不够，其实有点难以执行，毕竟训练一种行为真的需要时间，或许下一次实习我会这么做。
终有一天，我一定会这么做！
你或许会认为我增加学生的功课负担，其实不是的，只要进行得好，学生会迫不及待地想写，尤其在他们很高兴或很委屈的时候，他们更想对老师倾诉。再者，这其实也在增加老师的工作负担，但我真的很想了解我的学生私下的一面。
上课的时间真的很短，不足够去了解他们。

还有一个叫做优点轰炸的方法，我也是相当喜欢。
如果我早看这本书，再加上有空节，我一定会在我的3K实行。
我的班有个问题学生，我不知道自己是否该把他列为“问题学生”，他的功课表现不好，可是不算烂，只不过他的行为有点悲观、负面。他不断地投诉身边的朋友，每个老师都说是他的错，其实如果不受朋友欢迎该学生的确也要负上责任，可是我认为老师应该化解这一切，更要重建他的人格？性格？多多倾诉他的投诉，虽然真的很烦人，再分析给他听，我知道他是明白的。
从班上同学的反应，他们有时真的很不爽他，小孩子嘛，可是很多时候他们都是很接受他的。
在我分发奖励卡时，他们很愿意让我分一张，奖励他的表现。
在合照时，他们也很愿意让他入镜一起拍。
我看不到排斥。
如果时间能倒退，我一定会试试这个方法，让39个瓜挖掘出“他”的优点。

再来一个简单的方法，是让学生在手心上写上“我要认真”。
我算是用上了类似的方法。
我班上另一个小男孩，有时很乖，有时很心不在焉，可是他很想得到我的奖励卡。
我总是要他“下次表现得更好”就给他，可是“下一次”他又不专心了。
从他的恳求般的眼神，我知道他真的很想得到。
我同情心泛滥地就给了他，但也说了条件，下一堂课不专心我一定收回来，我也告诉他要玩东玩西的时候就把奖励卡放在桌上看一看。接下来的那堂课，他还是有些不专心*那是当然的*，可是有一些转变，他没有那么懒洋洋的了，而且都能回答我的问题。

对了，还有一个“乖乖桌位”。
就是让不乖的学生坐在那儿上课，直到改善了行为为止。
这个方法的成效应该也是不错。

写读后感写到成了自己的反思报告似的，呵呵。
其实要说的是，这分数分享了作者和学生的互动，用不同的方式教育学生的心得。
有开心，有感动，会让你读了跟着他们笑，跟着他们哭。
再加上自己有一些不成熟的教学方式因此会边读边思考某个方法的可行性等等。
真的是会让教育工作者很有感触，很有心得，很有idea的一本书。
有机会我自己一定会买一本来收藏！
