Eating more than shopping @ Hatyai

2 days 1 night is definitely not enough for one to travel in Hatyai. There were nearly zero travelling spot I had paid a visit. I did not buy enough clothes and sorry for my friends because I got no time to find any souvenirs from them either. My time was spent in travelling from places to places to eat and eat and eat. Swt.

The morning in the second day was wasted. We spent 2 hours to and fro the spa area and found it under renovation and closed. So the time was wasted. God know how much I want to spend my time did all my last minutes shopping that morning. >_<# The road towards that place was terrible! There were so many big lorry on road and I was so scared of the tour guide aunty's driving skill, she kept potong here and there. Amitabha I am safe again. :")
OOTD
For the first time wearing such stunning chio colour. Leggings bought RM10 each.

Charming and Gorgeous cock at the spa area.

Another 2 hours spent to back to city. It was already noon. Went to Kan Eng Restaurant for lunch. There were so many customers there and mostly Chinese tourists.
Kelabu oh kelabu. My favoy favoy =P
Petai with prawns.
Vege.
Otak-otak.
It was different from our Muar otak-otak. It was a bit sweeter and less spicy.
Sign Pork.
Sour sweet steam fish.

I ate quite little rice because my must-eat-food-in-the-trip haven't eaten yet. I was leaving my stomach some space for them. LOL
Mango Pulut finally in my mouth! *Slurp*
Imma a happy girl XD

Black sesame tang-yuan treated by the lady boss.
I-dont-know-what-is-it in a organic shop. It tasted yucky when you first had it in your mouth but it was sweet and salty when you chew. Not bad.
Had my McD Samurai Pork burger in 500m away from the kastam finally. My food wishlist in Hatyai trip was fulfilled.

333 Thai Restaurant @ Hatyai

Continued from the last post, I mentioned that I was back to hotel and going for dinner huh. The tour guide brought us to this Thai restaurant named 333 which is a place right opposite to Songkhla and we could have a look at the land of Songkhla when we were having dinner. It is so damn far from the city and we took nearly one hour drive there. The road towards that makan place was zigzag and narrow.

There were a lot of basket? cage? in the middle of the sea which is used to catch the prawns.
I called it 千军万马 coz it looked like a lot of old China warships coming towards us.
The day had darken when we reached.
The atmosphere there was relaxing as the breeze softly caressed your hair and the air was cool.

Acted like model and took lotsa nice photo.
With aunt and her old collge-mates.
How time would change me and my mates after 35 years graduation ?
I hope our friendship would be like them too, still keep in touch and so close. I'm jelly. =)
See how fresh and big the prawns. (Above)
The outcome. (Below) I couldnt eat prawns but I did try the tang-hoon and it was nice.

My favourite, kelabu papaya.
Tomyam fish. The fish was so fresh that it melted in your mouth.
Another favoy of mine, mango kelabu with fried fish.
The meal only costed us 100-200+ bucks. How could we have the chance to have big prawns, fresh fish, crabs with this price?

After the dinner we went to the floating market nearby to have a look. I thought we could have a ride on the sampan and bought thing from them on the water but I was a bit disappointed because it was different. I was so keen in searching mango pulut but it was to no avail. :(

Simply take some photo because I was tired and sad I couldnt find my pulut.
Back to hotel at around 8.30pm. Thanks God I reached safely as I mentioned the road was zigzag and narrow. Yet, it was super dark in the night without the road lamp. Took a bath and relaxed my busy body and mind in Massaging Center.
Goodnight worlds. :)

Chang Thai Restaurant @ Hatyai

This is my very first time visiting Thailand. My aunt was planning the Bangkok trip and even booked the flight but since it was very messy due to the political protest over there recently and so we gotta cancelled the trip. :(

So, my aunt planned another trip which is only visiting her friend in North Malaysia and thanks a lot to her friend as she brought us and entertained us in Hatyai.
Taking KTM train from Arau to Hatyai.
Arau to Padang Besar only took us about 20 minutes whereas Padang Besar to Hatyai spent us around 1 hour.

Reached there about 11am (which was around 12pm in Malaysia time) and so the first place to treat our stomach was this place!
Now, I am going to present my first meal in Thailand. :)
CHANG Thai Restaurant.
It was opposite the air force airport in Hatyai.
The FOC welcoming dishes, everything was raw!
There were cabbage, long bean, ginger which tasted like mango, cucumber and a lot of leaves that I don't recognize. Eaten with the chilli sauce provided, it tasted weird when I first ate it but was alright after that. Not really like it coz I am a leaves-hater.
Fried coconut shoot with carrot and prawns.
The most spicy dish among all.
Fried eggs with leaves. It tasted nice!
Dish that I love the most among all. There were fried onions, serai, cili padi and so on.
With lemon juice perhaps, it tasted sweet sour and spicy and crispy.
Prawns and meat.
Tomyam fish with coconut shoot.
Fried fish.
The fish was superb crispy.

After checked-in Sing Golden Place Hotel, we immediately taking tuk-tuk to the market nearby. Shopping is a must do in Thailand. But since I have only 2 days 1 night here I got not enough time for shopping and I bought very little clothes (4 colour leggings, 1 dress, 3 tops, 2 skirts) I think that was considered very very little compared to how my friend bought like everything is free.

Shopping is tiring because you have to do all the bargain and searching and thinking and walking and carrying. So we got baked coconut drinks in the stall by the roadside. I got PMS so I got to share the drinks with my aunt coz it was too cold for girls who PMS. The drink was cool and fresh and sweet but the coconut meat that we got was a little bit too old so it was hard.

The candid of me.
Afterwards, we were taking tuk-tuk back to hotel to claim a short rest and headed to dinner.
