Peh Yee's 21st birthday party!

It had been one month since the last birthday celebration among us. And it had been a long time since I last hangout for hor-liao. So kinda looking forward this celebration party. The girls had been worried for one whole month about what to give, how to celebrate, surprise, venue and all. And finally it was the day!! The girls did their fussy make up and set their hair and turned out a bunch of pretty bridemaid before hanging out. But too bad no matter how pretty you are, still you gonna wrap yourself like a dumpling before you get out from the college gate. Grr for the school rule! ## By the way, I was the only one with a nude face zero make up.

The girls were way too busy taking OOTD before the set dinner served until Yee Ching's man said please come back dining table for dinner. And it was super funny when he blurted out 'Finish my meal already, it is time for me to start working.' and he started playing his role as a cameraman to take photo of us. *Thankiew Ivan*

I had my Chicken Carbonara Spaggeti and it was super delicious. I think it is the best carbonara I had ever tried, so creamy and cheesy. :P

After we filled our stomach, it came to the highlight of the night!! Yee Xien, Sin Pin, Kexin and Yee Ching the Pianist played the Happy Birthday song while Chanel the Emcee sang the song. Ena and I brought the cake out from behind. And Ivan took the video of this scene. Because of some technical problem, the performance wasnt as flawless and perfect as during the practice, but who cares right? The meaning was priceless. Peh Yee shed tears there!! T_T I was deeply touched too. How nice if my friends could do something really surprise during my birthday too? I'm jelly.

After eating cake, we immediately back to photo session. This is what girls do all the time. I like taking photo as memories too. 2 years left and everything seemed more precious.

And after a lot of selca, we found we should have group photo again so that Ivan wouldnt be left over. It was quite hard to find a nice spot there coz it was abit too dark and narrow. The waitress said we took photo like student coz all queue up in one straight line.

Yee Xien wanted to take photo like my SNSD desktop photo but this was the outcome. They are well-trained in posing laaaa. There was another little surprise because the staff of the Piano Bar prepared the photo card for Peh Yee immediately.

Like this shot a lot. The difference between make up and zero make up was I looked so dull and dark in every photo.

Wrapped like dumpling again before went back to college. The celebration havent come to the end. The 4 pianist prepared Rock version birthday song for Peh Yee. We switched off the light in the room and on our torch light before Peh Yee entered. The room turned into Iptho-beam Bar with rock music, crazy jumping and dancing and neons. We didnt enter I-beam Bar but still we got our own way to entertain ourselves.

One of the week in Sem 4.

This is just another week as usual. But we did try a lot of new things and so I decided to post and record it. You may think that it is easy to be a teacher, and what for we spend so many years to study. If you think so, you are so wrong! Well, I couldnt deny that we may be easy to score if we study well and put in effort in assignment and it may not be as tough as difficult to memorize all those fact like what a doctor studies.But I think we depend on luck a lot. Because we dont even know what some lecturers require for some assignments because that will be the first and last and only time he/she teaches us. Also, we dont have exercises/ pre exam/ mid sem test for us to know how the questions gonna come out. The first and last and only time we got the chance to read the question is during the exam itself. Pathetic. A doctor studies everything, but those things are all related to body. Accountant opens and closes so many accounts, but those accounts are 0 till 10. Lawyer memories all the rules and law, but it is still about law. But a teacher is different. We are not only study how to teach, we study what doctor studies (Anatomy and Physiology), what psychologist learns (Perkembangan kanak-kanak etc etc), what computer programmer does (ICT in lessons),what artist draws (Arts in lessons) and etc etc. Okay, you stubborn might think that what we learn are so basic and easy peasy, alright it is but my turn to ask 'can you teach?' No right, but I can do what you know, at least at the basic level. This is why 'teacher' is noble. Teachers are all-rounders. *Proud of it*

Just feel like letting those who take 'teacher' this occupation as last choice know how noble teacher is. I may not like the system in maktab, but being a teacher/ educator is always my first choice. (:

Back to the topic. What I learnt this week? Always jealous about people who is having DSLR because they can take lotsa nice and artistic photo. But I'm not that jelly now somehow because DSLR is so heavy and complicated which is not suitable for me. Thanks for EDU class this sem, we got the chance to use DSLR to take nice photo or to try out new effect. And also learn to create own website though it is super stressful to be in Dr. Tey's class.

Seni dalam Pendidikan class. This is one of my favourite class when we got the chance to draw but not listening to presentation. Presentation is super bored and lame. Drawing time passes faster and more interesting. We learnt to crave a potato stamp and make catan in today class.

Jia Hao's 21st celebration + silly ootd

No class in the afternoon so I joined my coursemates to celebrate Jia Hao's 21st. Sad to mention that we are not as close as last time recently, we are no more in the same gang now, however I will still treat him as one of my true friend.

Motivation camp.

This is my first time being the facilitator in a primary school motivation camp. Thanks to my seniors who gave me this chance to help them and learn through this activity. The experience gained in this camp will surely contribute and help me in my internship two years later. Lets see what going on in the camp!

At first I was a bit shy to know them too, but I gonna be a teacher so I have to be confident and get along with my students. The first thing to do is Introduction! Because calling the correct name can turn the following interaction better. :)

There were 4 boys and 3 girls in my team. I have to admit that I dont like them at the beginning because they were way too passive. They were so shy and their mind were so negative thinking. They refused to co-operate with me when I asked them to keep quiet because they claimed that they were the lousiest group, no point to act perfectly and keep quiet. I was kinda fed up when I heard such negative comments from them. I was here to guide them and I think I have the responsibility to help them but not see them deteriorate. I dont want my group to be the last group. I want them to be the champion, no, at least they tried their very best!

Seniors guided us for some easy dance (手语). I tried my best to encourage my group members to get high and shake their body *Though I was always the shy and passive girl in my campus* They danced better afterwards. We were given a talk about parents-children relation at night. I was quiet sleepy. It was followed by Wayang Kulit (皮影戏) by Helen senior. I like the show very much because I found the story was meaningful and the show was interesting. I think I can use this idea later too. Slept at about 1am after some briefing and discussion with seniors. Felt quite sorry coz I was quite blur actually. @_@

Woke up at 6am with super swollen eyes. On stage for warming up. I liked the games time!! I found my team changed a bit through the games as they seemed like more cooperative with one another, more polite and really tried their best to gain the diamond score. I was given the responsibility in guiding two games: 飘飘欲坠 and 无羽伦比. It was a passing tissue paper without using limbs games. Another one is doing badminton servis and other members tried to catch the ball using a basket carried behind the back. There were another 4 game stations. I think every stations never fail to make the kids feeling enjoyable. Really amazed by my seniors coz the games prepared by them were really interesting! I would like to have a try on all the game too!

We were attending a motivating talk in between the game session. It was a great talk as the presenter was super funny. His face emotion was really vivid and funny. I hope I could have the talking skill like that too so that my audiences wont fall asleep when I'm presenting next time. 生于忧患，死于安乐。我要“变态”！XD

Only knew that the team leader's house is so near with mine. Only knew that the girl at the right is learning calligraphy from my teacher too but I didnt recognize her at the first sight.

Really enjoy the camp. Though the time was short, I learnt a lot and gained a lot of experience in the camp. Though I was super tired and exhausted after the camp, still I found it was meaningful and enriched my weekend time. Hope I can join such amazing camp again. Hope I manage to organize such great camp in the future. Gambateh Hwaiting Jiayou!!
