My amazing Singapore trip 2011

Date: 6 - 8 Dec. 2011
Members: jC, Woon Yee Ah Ji and bro Zhi Rong
Venue: Bugis street, Orchard Road, Universal Studio @Sentosa Island.
_______________
I had been to Singapore for many times but this was my first time to Singapore alone, without accompanied by adult. I felt scare and nervous to get lost too somehow I audaciously started my journey with my bestie and also my youngest brother.
We reached Sg at noon and went to my Lao gor's house coz we were going to stay there. A big thank you for her, kindly let us stay at her place and prepare breakfast for us everyday. She is really an amiable granny! <3
We then headed to the foodcourt which is just a stone throw from my lao gor's house and then ready to kick off our trip. We first went to Bugis street recommended by Woon Yee's friend. It is really a huge shopping mall for shopping! If there is no currency between Singapore dollar and Malaysia ringgit, I bet I would buy lotsa things! How pity the ringgit is just too small.  I bought myself a new pencil case since it had been two years I hadnt change my pencil case. :D
Non-stop walking made my legs real pain! This was just the starting point. No matter how, we still went to the next destination Orchard road to have a look on the attractive decoration of Christmas there. Thanks for my friend Siow Kang bro. who met me up in Orchard and treat me juices. :)
In Orchard road. :)

With a pair of painful legs and lethargic body, we back to home at 10pm. Feel embarrassing causing my relative to wait for us. :(
The next morning......we went to the destination I longing for ages, UNIVERSAL STUDIO!!! The price of the entrance ticket is fucking damn expensive, $74! So, I promised to myself that no matter how painful is my legs, I have to visit 7 zones in Universal Studio thoroughly. Let's GO!!!
Taking photo with the landmark. :)
First Zone: MADAGASCAR.
Join the Crate Adventure with the main characters by take an indoor river boat ride.
There were toy figurines of Alex, Marty, Malma and Gloria along the riverside and I busy taking photo. It is fun! Besides, we also tried King Julien's Beach Party-Go-Round which is actually carousel of the cartoon.

The next zone: FAR FAR AWAY.
The palace of The Shrek and Princess Fiona.
I tried Enchanted Airways which is a junior coaster for a flight. Though it is a minor roller coaster but I felt super dizzy after it :( There is a highlight in this zone which is Shrek 4D Adventure. This is a 4D movie, we seated on a movable seat for the show. I remembered that when the donkey sneezing, there were water splashed out. Yuck!!

With the palace, the Shrek 4D adventure's poster, onion carriage of princess Fiona.

Third zone: THE LOST WORLD.
Divided into two main theme park which are Jurassic Park as the photo above and Waterworld as the picture below.
We didnt play the Canopy Flyer and Dino-Soarin there somehow I didnt miss out the show in Waterworld at 5.30pm. I tahan my painful legs and ran as fast as I could to go back to waterworld from Far far away *FAR* It is an impressive water show!!

Lunch time at Discovery Food court under The Lost World. This is the foodcourt that we found it's price the most reasonable one, though not really cheap also lar... $10.50!! Around RM25 for one set. But it is really nice with noodles, small dishes and desserts Green Bean Soup. :)

After filling our empty stomach, we re-gained energy to move on. But since we were just too full, we couldnt immediately take those thrilling rides, so we strolled aimlessly a while and then decided to try the Transformer ride which was just opened 5 days ago. How lucky we are!! xD

Here we were: SCI-FI CITY!!!
My bro took photo with the enormous transformer model. *Exhilarated mood on*
TRANSFORMER The Ride is really worthy and a MUST to try!!!!!! *though the queue was damn damn damn looooooooooooong* I think this is the one and only ride in this world, you could not find it in else where. I dont know how to describe the ride here coz the feelings were beyond words. It is totally different from the 4D Shrek. It is like roller coaster + 4D scene. It is super duper thrilling! I really wanna try the second time but lazy to queue again. *Regret*
The highlight in Universal: The Battlestar Galactica roller coaster.

Lets see the close up: Human VS Cylon.
Human is the RED line, a seated coaster that propels one to 14 storeys high and zooming at the speeds of 82.8km/h. Cylon is the BLUE line, a suspended roller coaster and give one to experience vertical loop, corkscrew and cobra roll.
At first I wanna take but then I felt dizzy after the previous junior coaster so I dare not try this, but at last I Tried It!!! I tried the Blue line coz even the admin said it seemed to be more thrilling than the Red line. I opened my eyes a while and saw there were lotsa people raising their head and stared at this ride, scary. I shouted and prayed when I was there coz really horrible!! T_T My adrenaline accelerated until I feel slightly stomachache before I sat for it. Thanks God I was brave enough if not sure I feel regret for not trying now. Thanks God I didnt vomit and I was like 'what, reach dy ar? Will speed up and chiong again kot? Ei, really stop jor' and get down with trembling limbs. =P

Followed by: ANCIENT EGYPT
Feeling regret now for not trying The Revenge of The Mummy, 4 stories high indoor coaster. We didnt try The treasure hunter jeep ride too coz too long the waiting time. Anyway, we met the army of Anubis and did take photo with him. He is HOT with his muscle!! :)

Next zone: NEW YORK CITY
Lucky to see The Rockafellas show, which is a B-boy break dance show. The guys were cool with their dancing movement. There is no any thrilling ride in New York City but there is a special show there, named Lights, Camera. Action! Hosted by Steven Spielberg. It is another special show that showed us how an empty sound stage becomes the setting for a major hurricane about to hit New York City. We could experience the strong wind and fire around.
With the B-boys and the hats hanged at the roadside. =)

Last Zone: HOLLYWOOD

We met Mel's Dinettes street entertainment. The girls were so pretty and their singing was awesome. I recorded video of their performance!
There is also no any rides in Hollywood zone but a show called Monster Rock show. I watched the Monster Rock show at 7.30pm. It is a musical drama fitted with cutting-edge cinematic technology, including state-of-the-art digital projectors, the mega-monster spooktacular features great music, dancing, comedy, special effects, and enough pyrotechnics to wake the dead. There are vampire, werewolf, mummy etc in this monster show. Nice!

With Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, Kung Fu Panda and Frankenstein's Monster.

Some night shoot with the street view before back. :)

Bye-bye to Universal Studio and Sentosa Island. You will be badly missed!!!
<3
Back to Eunos at 9pm and immediately have our precious dinner. Back to relative's house at 9.30pm.

With my lovely Lao Gor. Wish Lao Gor stay healthy and happy forever. Say bye bye to Lao Gor at noon and back to Malaysia.
