Book Haul!! XD

I am a very weird girl.

I found myself getting very excited when I see books.

I was like really overwhelmed with excitement the moments I was in bookshop.

The excitement is much much more than the moments I shop for clothes.

Very weird girl huh?

RM250 BB1M is always my best-gift-of-the-year.

I planned to buy this to buy that so that my voucher will be spent meaningfully.

Since I am going to practicum soon, I used my voucher wisely to buy what I might use in my practicum and some little gift that I can give to my students.
You must be so lucky to be my students. I think of you and prepared gifts for you even when I haven't meet you. XD

Books is always my love.
I used to spend my BB1M in English novels last 2 years. Sure it is not enough if I spent the voucher buying John Green's books. Thankfully I found the softcopy in internet and there isn't any John Green's in the bookshop today I dont know why, so I can save the money for the other books. I couldn't find Jodi Picoult's book in internet so I gonna buy it. Her books are really good pieces you must read!
Bought Chinese books for the first time perhaps? The books are mostly about how to educate the kids and how to communicate better with kids. And I bought a very cute book is about how to draw cute cute comic so that I can draw nicely to attract students. What I bought are all related to my career. Practicum and teaching are in the first place, always. I am so so teacher huh!
Spent nearly 2 hours in Popular choosing everything. Exhausted yet satisfied.

Worth reading: ★★★★★★★★☆☆ (8/10)
Reason: Simply touched your heart. Curiosity grows, wanted to know the ending.

This is a very very nice story. The story line is very simple but it is very meaningful. I spent about two months in reading this book. My slow reading speed never mean that this is a boring novel, NO! It is a very touching story, it makes me want to read more each time but sad to say that I'm too busy in doing my assignment sometimes I don't have the mood to continue. I'm glad I finish it today.

This is a story about FAMILY LOVE. Luke Warren is a man who left his family and decided to stay with a pack of wolves. He returned to his family after few years and tried his best to back to normal human life. His son Edward accidentally found that Luke is having affair with a lady. To protect his family, he chose to hide the truth and so he left to Thailand. But at last his mother, Georgie still decided to divorce with Luke and married to a lawyer named Joe Ng. The little daughter of Luke and Georgie, Cara chose to stay with his dad at last. One day, Cara was having party in her friend's house and get drunk. Luke fetched her back home but they met an accident on the way back. Luke was declared to be in vegetative state forever. Edward back from Thailand after 6 years leaving. He decided to give dial down the ventilator and donate Luke's organ since he was signed as an organ donor but Cara refused to do so. She wanted to save her dad and she believed that her dad will recover one day. They went to court to ask for guardianship of their father but the permanent guardianship was awarded to Edward at last. And so, Edward decided to donate his father's organ. Now he knew that his sister would like to keep her dad was because she argued with him and led to the accident. Both of them knew that the common thing they did was they told their father 'I hate you' as the last sentences of their conversation. But in the inner of their heart, they knew that they love their dad..

This book is really great because the writer mixed the details of the living style of wolves in human's life. We could understand how Luke thinks in his deep core of hear after affected by the living style of wolves. Besides, we can clearly know how different characters feel towards the same incident too. And from every monologue of the characters, it brings out memories (reasons) that leads everything to the present stage (result). Once you start reading, it is difficult for you to stop because it makes you curious about the ending. What would happened to Luke? Dead or miracle?

For me, I didn't know what would be the best choice for Luke. I want him to live so that I could stay with him forever and I don't want to lose anyone from my life but at the same time I couldn't accept the fact that he would be lying on bed and ended his life meaningless like this. I know he doesn't want to live like that too. So, I want to follow his wishes to donate his organ but how could I to be so cruel to end his life right? It is really a big dilemma and also the interesting part of this story. If you were Luke's children, what would be your choice?

This is a pretty short book review I guess because I don't know what could I describe. I just feel very sad. The words are sad. The ending part that describing the dead of Luke and the machine were all taken off and everything left in the hospital room was merely memories, those sentences made me shed tears. Dead is an event and you move on. Simply touched. :"(

What would be my next book? Maybe I should read One Day? Or The Fault in Our Stars? Or Limitless? I gonna read some motivating book or romantic novel with happy ending. Life of mine is dull and depressing recently, I need some happy thing to boost up my positive sunshine happiness.

My Chicken Cordon Bleu.
The meat is soft but I couldn't say it is a perfect one because it is very dry coz the crispy layer is a lil bit too thick for me. Plus I couldn't taste the aroma of cheese.

We bought the birthday girl a Winnie the Pooh birthday hat.
But she kept feeling very awkward to wear it.

THE JOURNEY fans meeting :)

Days are fulled of sh*t recently.
Problems and troubles and things happened.
I am really thankful that there are something worth happy happening!
THE JOURNEY fans meeting in BP Mall.

It was an immediate decision that I decided to hangout and join the fans meeting with my friends.
We had our dinner at sushi king bonanza first. I only managed to eat 4 plates of sushi this year, I don't know what had happened to my stomach as I used to swallow 8 plates last time. But the small volume of stomach also helped me in saving my expenses. LOL

THE JOURNEY is one of the Best movie I have watched. It is very touching and gives us some reflection space. There aren't only LOVE relationship between a young couple, but it is more to the relationship between old people and young generation and also the relationship between two opposite races and two opposite culture.
Ang Moh people used to be very open minded and straight forward. Love means love and hate means hate and they don't mind saying it out loud. Their expressions are always very straight and true.
But how about us the Chinese?
We used to be very very shy. We don't often mention love or hatred in public. We used to keep our feeling in our own mind. This is very clearly to be seen in this movie as we could see the daddy is very sayang of his daughter but he pretended like nothing happened. The daughter did the same thing also. Even the old classmates did the same thing too.

Actually there are so many touching scene in the movie and there are many lessons taught too, but it is really hard to expresses it in words. It is very feeling thing and you gotta feel it yourself.
What I could say is this is really a worth watching movie! T_T
For those who haven't watch, please buy a ticket and enter the cinema and enjoy the show.
It brings out Chinese culture. It also brings the Malaysian living style and talking style to the big screen. It had broke the movie record in Malaysia and I hope this movie will top the world.

They are very very friendly people, never get arrogant because this movie had broke Malaysia's record. They smiled politely and shake hand and said 'hello' and took photo with wide radiant smile with everybody. You know how many is 'everybody' means? A lot really a lot!
I think this is why the movie get so popular.
